Who am I?

It depends on the day of the week, really. But generally speaking, I’m a hard working, fitness-loving perfectionist who has an opinion on everything. I created this site because I wanted to provide a place where women who are serious about fitness could find training and diet information, free of the “fluff” and Cosmo garbage that litters popular women’s fitness magazines and websites.

You won’t find any articles like “How to Please Your Man in Bed” or “Latest Beauty Faves!” here. What you will find is my intense, focused, no-nonsense approach to fitness. I’m incapable of sugarcoating, so I won’t waste your time with any bullshit. I believe that women can train just as hard as men and still retain their sexiness and femininity, and that we’re capable of digesting pointed information.

I also believe in all-around fitness, not just working out to look hot. Too many people, both men and women, limit their training efforts. They get really good at one thing – be it running, weight training, yoga, whatever. But true fitness means training for strength, speed, agility, and endurance. It means having both the confidence that your body can perform well under any test and the mental toughness to push beyond all self-perceived limitations.

 Random tidbits

  • I performed as a mermaid in the famous underwater mermaid show at Weeki Wachee Springs when I was in college
  • I would like to complete a half Ironman in the next year, and a full within two

Me…before I got my legs

At the top of Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park…riding a loaded touring bike to over 12,000 feet. This was a little detour I took during my cross country ride.
